Everyone worries. An anxiety disorder is different. The fear is out of proportion to the situation, hard to switch off, and it starts costing you at work, at home, and in your relationships. It often shows up physically as well: racing heart, chest tightness, shortness of breath, stomach trouble, muscle tension, and trouble sleeping.

Anxiety responds well to treatment. Depending on what you are dealing with, that may mean therapy, medication, or both. We also look at contributors that are easy to miss, including thyroid function, caffeine and alcohol intake, sleep debt, and stimulant medications.
Many patients see us for anxiety alongside primary care or addiction treatment. Having those under one roof means your providers are working from the same picture.
